ANDIROBA – THE INGREDIENT
Andiroba is a tree native from the Amazon and its restorative oil are mainly harvested by women from local communities in the Amazon Forest, who gain more revenue and autonomy. The local communities harvest the Andiroba seeds from the ground in a sustainable way, dry them for 1 month and then press them to obtain its precious oil. Andiroba is known by communities for the effects of its natural properties and it is rich in Omega 9. It restores the skin and balances its defense mechanisms.
